Rogers shoots still and video collection for London Fashion duo palmer//harding. Shot in water, both mediums explore the freedom and emotion that palmer//harding infused in their collection, along with the mystery of one of their signature designs.
Rogers" "Reckless Unbound" print at six and a half feet tall is now a part of Viscount Weymouth's and the Longleat House Collection, and will be amongst Italian Renaissance painting masterpieces by Titian, Tintoretto and others.
Longleat is an English stately home, currently the seat of the Marquesses of Bath, and is open to the public. The house reflects one family's collections over more than 400 years. Titian's "Rest on the Flight into Egypt", worth £5 million in 2002, was stolen in 1995 but was subsequently found and can be seen in the house.
The collections range from the magnificent (paintings and furniture ) to the macabre (the blood-stained vest worn by Charles I at his execution in 1649). The 16th-century English portraits, sporting scenes and Italian Old Masters that decorate the walls are complemented by English, French, Italian and furniture, while the current Marquess of Bath’s exuberant murals can be seen in his private apartments. Longleat’s seven libraries between them house one of the largest book collections in Europe, with over 40,000 volumes.
Way ahead of his time and on the verge of creating a whole new music genre, Jared Dunne of 22tape debuts his new album "Dischordance" though the Concrete Sound System label. Rogers creates the album cover art to go along with his unique creations.
Jared says "it was made when i had some really great analogue gear (eurorack modular and pedals). i used a ton of vinyl samples and a bunch of found sounds, and melodic lines that i composed. i then mangled those sounds through the analogue fx while multitracking them to 4-track tape. i then took the individual tracks from the tape and brought them into the computer, and processed them through csound fx and did the final arrangement and mix in renoise."
Angers Nantes Opéra has selected eight of Rogers images to represent their 2013-2014 Opera performance and will host an exhibit of her work starting on May 29th in collaboration with Ten Productions, France.

Known for her ethereal underwater photography, Rogers’ Odyssey series captures figures in dreamlike motion, exploring themes of transformation, struggle, and triumph. The Opera house chose her work to complement their performances, recognizing the deep emotional resonance and dramatic beauty in her imagery, which echoes the intensity of operatic storytelling.
Displayed within the historic walls of the Angers Nantes Opera, Rogers’ luminous, Baroque-inspired pieces became a visual counterpart to the sweeping narratives unfolding on stage. Her use of light and shadow, combined with the fluidity of water, paralleled the emotional depth and grandeur of the performances. The selection of her Odyssey collection not only highlighted the universality of artistic expression but also elevated the experience for audiences, merging two art forms in a celebration of grace, movement, and human emotion.

London fashion designer label palmer//harding finds inspiration in Rogers' photograph "Panthera Onca" from her "Odyssey" series for their new aw13 collection, launching at London's fashion week, also using the image for the invitation to their show.
palmer//harding is a men's and women's label, create by Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding, focused on bringing directional design to a traditionally neglected garment in a wardrobe, the shirt. Since launching the label in September 2011, palmer//harding have seen their collections grace the pages of international publications, including features in American and British Vogue. Their collection is stocked internationally in prestigious stores including Ikram, Joyce and Louis Boston.

Artist Christy Lee Rogers is commissioned to create the underwater scenes of the epic Indian Love story of the "Ramayana" for Mexican born Artist and Film Director Lola Creel and her new feature film "Journey of Hanuman." Major Cinematography for the film was done by master time-lapse director and cinematographer Ron Fricke.
The film is narrated by Peter Coyote and the scenes are linked by the poetry of nobel prize poet Octavio Paz, translated by American writer Eliot Weinberger. Other collaborators include the Kronos Quartet and Krishna Mohan Bhatt. A first screening will take place at the George Lucas Skywalker Ranch on Jan 16, 2013.
